Broaden The Path - 6 Week Course
This is the first of a series of five 6-week courses built to enrich your understanding and breadth of taiji practice. You'll come with me through an exploration behind the eastern philosophies that deeply link to our practice of Taiji - but are overlooked due to our overfocus on the physical movements. We meet for 2 hours each week diving into the work of presence with eastern philosophies that support the mindful movement practices of Taiji (Tai Chi) and Qigong (Chi Kung).

Taiji for Balance Level 1 : Full Course
This full course includes the broad spectrum of studying the art of Taiji. It includes very detailed videos of traditional warmups that will prepare the body. There are presentations for each of the movements to include the theory within practice. The body mechanics of the postures are broken down, detailing the arms/hands, feet/hips, and putting them together to move the body as a whole. Also included is repeated videos for practice, with front and back viewing. Each lesson is accompanied by a meditation to support the mind and heart to truly embody the full richness of the form. Downloadable files support each lesson and learning. This course is full-bodied and not for anyone who is just looking for the movements. If you simply want to learn the movements of the form, purchasing the self-guided course will be your best choice.
Taiji For Balance: Self Guided
Begin your journey with Taiji For Balance. This series of videos will be a great self-guided opening to your study of Taiji. Detailed videos from every angle show step work, arms, and body positioning. The clear, concise presentation offers accurate body mechanics as well as cultivating a relaxed presence. This course is not for those who want an in-depth learning experience of taiji but is specifically for those who just want to focus on the physical movements of the form. If you are looking for depth, consider the full Taiji For Balance Course with detailed videos of traditional warmups, theory in practice, breakdown of hands, feet and putting them together, body mechanics, practice videos, presentations detailing what is behind the movement, and meditations to embody the lessons.
Taiji For Balance Level 2
Our Taiji For Balance: Level 2 Course guides you through the second set of movements that build on your foundation from Level 1. You'll deepen your taiji knowledge to create a meditative practice for a balanced, fulfilled life.
